DOWNGRADE IOS " 4.3.4 " TO " 4.3.3 OR BELOW "

I will today show you, how to downgrade your iphone 3gs, iphone 4g, ipod touch, Ipad 1.

Step : 1

Download the requierd IPSW file to which you want to downgrade to, the link is given below for your convenience:

Desired IPSW

Step : 2

Once you've downloaded the required IPSW file, its time you put you phone, ipad or ipod touch into DFU mode. The steps are as follows:

1. Connect your device with the PC or MAC
2. Turn your device off
3. Now open iTunes
4. Hold down the Power button and the Home button simultaneously for 10 seconds
5. After 10 Seconds, release the Power button but don't let go the Home button, your computer should detect a new USB device
6. At this point iTunes will also recognize your device

At this point, your device's screen should be off, if that's so, then you've successfully put your device in DFU mode.

Step : 3

Here comes the tricky and the most important part, you're going to fill iTunes into thinking that its in contact with Apple's servers, whereas we're going to change that to Saurik's server. In order to do this, Follow the steps Below :

Windows Users :

Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\ and locate the file names as " Hosts ".

MAC Users :

Mac users can access the " hosts" file by navigating to "/etc/" folder, which can be found through Go > Go to Folder from within Finder.

If you're on Windows, then open the "hosts" file in Notepad. If on a Mac, then open the "hosts" file in TextEdit, and add the following line at the end:

           74.208.105.171 gs.apple.com

Refer to the screenshot below if you're having any confusion:

Just save the file and close Notepad or TextEdit, and you're all set for the downgrade.

A quick note for Windows 7 and Vista users: Start Notepad with " Administrator Privileges", that can be done by right-clicking the Notepad app, and there you will see the "Administrator Privileges" option, simple click and launch.

A quick note for Mac OS X users: While saving the host file on your Mac, you should have complete read and write privileges in order to make changes. Getting a permission error? A simple workaround is to copy the host file to you Mac's desktop, from there make the changes in TextEdit, save the file and copy it back to the original location, and replace the original host file with the one which you just created.

Step : 4

Launch iTunes, choose you device from the left sidebar. Hold down the left " SHIFT " key if you're on Windows or hold down the left " alt " key if you're on a Mac and click on " Restore ", do not click anything else! A new window will pop-up asking you for the location of the IPSW file.

Navigate to the desired firmware to which you want to downgrade to, in this case it can be either iOS 4.3.3, 4.3.2, 4.3.1 or 4.2.1. Once you find the required IPSW file, click "Open" and let iTunes do its thing.

In a matter of few minutes, iTunes will install the version of iOS which you directed it to install, at this point you should see a progress bar on your device, everything is automated, therefore don't do anything silly. Your device will reboot automatically when everything is done.

In some cases, iTunes will throw 1013 error, ignore it, its perfectly normal when downgrading. At this point, your device will be in Recovery Mode with you desired version of iOS fully installed.

It will show a screen of cable and iTunes.
Its quite simple to get out of recovery mode, simply download this nifty program called TinyUmbrella along with Fix Recovery.

Once You're done downloading TinyUmbrella, launch it, and then click on the "Exit Recovery" button. In a matter of seconds, your device will boot up normally.

Once you're done with this, the last thing you're going to do is remove the line you added to the "hots" file in step3, in order to receive updates from Apple's servers normally.

Click " Here " to Officially Jailbreak your iDevice.

20 MUST-HAVE CYDIA APPS & TWEAKS FOR IPHONE

1. Activator

A system-wide tweak that lets you set up custom activation gestures and commands for just about anything on your device. Want to fire up the music controls with a pinch gesture on your Springboard? There you go. Mail app with pull-down from the status bar? Boom. Activator is THE must-have, and it’s free.

2. AppLinks

This neat tweak creates shortcuts for your 3rd party applications right where you need them via SSH access. Instead of having to navigate to God knows which folder in your iPhone filesystem, just go to /var/mobile/AppLinks and you’ll find the shortcut to the app you need. Useful, and free.

3. Bite SMS

The alternative SMS app that doesn’t need introductions. BiteSMS is a full-featured alternative to Messages.app that comes with an awful lot of features such as Quick Reply and Quick Send, Emoji support and settings. You should go download this right now.

4. Disable Voice Control

A simple tweak that removes Voice Control on click & hold the home button. I don’t use Voice Control, and with this I managed to assign the shortcut to multifl0w.

5. Enhanced Tab

A tweak for Mobile Safari that allows you to always open the browser in tab mode (useful if you usually have a lot of pages open and you have to pick up the one you want on each launch), choose the new tab mode behavior and enable a button to close all tabs except the selected one. Free.

6. Five Icon Dock

Five icons in the Dock, pretty simple. If I may suggest, don’t put apps that’ll have badges (Mail, for example) in the dock.

7. Folder Closer

Annoyed by Apple’s decision to show a folder when closing an app you just launched from there? Wouldn’t it be great to open a folder, launch an app, close it and just go back to the homescreen. There you have it. Free in Cydia.

8. iFile

full-featured and great looking file manager for iPhone and iPad. Constantly updated to support the latest version of iOS and powered by a great icon, iFile lets you navigate through the iPhone file system like the Finder does on OS X. You can create and delete folders, copy and cut files, play songs and videos with the built-in media player, basically do anything you want. You can also fire up the WebDAV server and upload files to your desktop computer. If there’s an app that shows why you should jailbreak, that’s most certainly iFile.

9. Infiniolders

With this app you’ll be allowed to put more than 12 apps in a folder. You can also enable vertical scrolling, activate pagination and choose the scrollbar style. Must-have if you put a lot of apps in many folders on your device.

10. MultiFl0w

A great alternative to Apple’s default implementation of multitasking which reminds of Mac’s Exposè. Through a custom activation method (that can override Apple’s task switcher) you get beautiful thumbnail previews of the apps you have running. It’s fast and lightweight.

11. MxTube

A free Youtube downloader, quite possibly the best one I’ve ever seen on the iPhone. Highly recommended.

12. Netatalk

A free implementation of the standard AppleTalk framework that lets you mount an iOS device in the Mac’s Finder.

13. No Folder Badges

Annoyed by folder icons having badges for all the apps inside them? With this tweak, folders won’t have any badge. Simple and great.

14. Notified Pro

What notifications on iOS should have been. Notified Pro is one of the apps I suggest to every new iPhone user interested in jailbreaking. Still a must-have app.

15. Paste

Quickly submit any kind of text snippet to Pastie.org. Free, fast and works just fine.

16. SBSettings

The father of all tweaks and apps on the iPhone. SBSettings is the best way to easily perform any kind of action on your iPhone: reboot, respring, turn 3G off, turn Bluetooth on…anything. With support for themes and addons (toggles), SBSettings is the first app you should install from Cydia together with Activator. A huge time saver.

17. Spring Flash

Activate a flashlight with a simple Activator-based gesture. Simple, free, useful. (My gesture is tap on volume heads-up display)

18. Synchroncity

This mod lets you use your iPhone while it’s syncing with iTunes. A read bar similar to the tethering one will appear right under the status bar, but you’ll be able to do everything you want while iTunes is installing apps or backing up your device.

19. Winter Board

Do I really need to introduce you to this one? Winterboard lets you activate themes and other graphical modifications on your device. Just install it, then go look for some awesome themes on MacThemes. Then look at your iPhone. Then back at this post.

20. Facebreak & 3G Unrestrictor

Last, these two tweaks to let the iPhone think it’s on wifi even though you’re only using 3G. FaceBreak is only for FaceTime, 3G Unrestrictor allows you to edit settings for every app on your device. FaceBreak is cheaper and faster in updates, 3G Unrestrictor is full-featured.
